How often does the car key change the battery?

2020-07-22

With the rapid development of the automotive industry, our car configuration is getting higher and higher, which brings us convenience and hides many hidden dangers. Just like our car keys, from the most primitive mechanical key to the remote control key to the very popular smart key, we usually use it very conveniently and switch freely, but what should we do if one day suddenly runs out of electricity?
Generally, the service life of the car key battery is about five years. The remote control key means that the door can be opened and locked remotely without inserting the key key into the keyhole. Its biggest advantage is: no matter day or night, no need to detect the keyhole, no need to insert it. The cumbersome process of driving the door with the key can unlock (open the door) and lock (lock the door) from a long distance and interpretation.
Symptoms of the car key before the power is out:

1. The remote control distance will be shorter. We could open the door from ten meters away, but now we must be close to the car to open the door.

2. Pay attention to the indicator light on the key. When you press it, the indicator light is relatively dark, which means that the battery is running low. Of course, the failure of the car key does not necessarily mean that the car key is out of power. There may also be power interference nearby. If there is a strong magnetic field around, it will also affect the use of the remote control key.

3. When the car door is remotely controlled, it sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't work. Sometimes it takes many times to respond, then it means that the car key is almost out of power.

In addition, during use, the smart remote control key should avoid contact with some strong magnetic fields, such as high-voltage lines, transmission towers, and other places where there are strong magnetic signals. Avoid parking the vehicle because the smart key uses low-intensity radio waves. It may not work normally when there is magnetic interference. In addition, when using the smart key, try not to throw it away, because most smart key shells are relatively strong, but frequent throwing will cause poor internal battery contact.
